Its pods are six to seven inches long (18-20cm), round and stringless. The crops are heavy with pickings concentrated. The seeds are dark brown speckled with a tan. Great fresh, canned or frozen.
'Topcrop' was released by the USDA, Beltsville, Maryland in 1950 and was an "All-America Selection®" winner that same year.
