<div>Το Σμέουρο (ή νιάουρο) γνωστό και ως Φραμπουάζ (γαλλ. Framboise, αγγλ. Red Raspberry) με επιστημονική ονομασία Rubus ideaus (βάτος η ιδιαία) είναι πολυετές άγριο φυτό που παράγει μικρού μεγέθους κόκκινους καρπούς. Έχει απλά πτεροειδή ή σύνθετα παλαμοειδή φύλλα και λευκά ή ρόδινα πενταμερή άνθη. Το γένος rubus παρουσιάζει ιδιαίτερο οικονομικό ενδιαφέρον λόγω των εδώδιμων εύγευστων καρπών του. Το όνομα τού είδους idaeus (Ιδιαίος - Ζεύς) αναφέρεται στην εμφάνισή του, στο όρος Ίδη κοντά στο Τροία στη βορειοδυτική Τουρκία, όπου οι Αχαιοί το πρωτοαντίκρυσαν κατά τον Τρωικό πόλεμο .</div>
<p><strong>Διατροφική αξία</strong></p>
<p>Σύμφωνα με στοιχεία που μας παρέχει το USDA το σμέουρο είναι πλούσιο σε Κάλιο186mg (οι τιμές ανά 100γρ.) ασβέστιο 30,7mg μαγνήσιο 27,10mg Βιταμίνη C 32,2mg Βιταμίνη A 40,6 I.U. και θεωρητική ενεργειακή απόδοση 64 Κal.</p>

<p><span style="color: #008000;">Fill a seed starter tray with sterile potting soil in the early fall. Press one to two raspberry seeds ¼ inch down into the soil of each cell. Pat the soil down gently over the seeds to remove air pockets.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #008000;">Mist the soil lightly to dampen, using a spray bottle filled with water. Keep the soil moist throughout the germination process. Place the seed starter tray in a cool, dark area while the raspberry seeds germinate. The seeds will begin to sprout within three months.</span></p>
