<h2><strong>Star Anise Broken - Spice</strong></h2> <h2><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Price for Package of 25 grams.</strong></span></h2> <p>Star Anise is a unique spice that has a sweet anise flavor. Learn more about this spice, including how to cook with it!</p> <p class="p1">Star Anise is, by far, the prettiest spice in my cupboard. These fragrant little pods look more like delicate wood carvings than something you would cook with! While they would probably be a lovely addition to potpourri, they have much more to offer than just their looks.</p> <p class="p1">Did you know that Star Anise is one of the five spices in Chinese five-spice powder? It’s also one of the predominant flavors in Vietnamese Pho (a noodle soup), and Sambuca (an Italian liqueur). Read on to learn more about this spice, including how to use it in your cooking.</p> <h2 class="p1">WHAT IS STAR ANISE?</h2> <p>Star Anise is a star-shaped seed pod from an evergreen tree, which is native to China.</p> <p>While technically not related to regular anise, this spice does have a similar flavor. This isn’t the strong, medicinal licorice flavor of black jelly beans though. The flavour of star anise is sweeter – more similar to fennel than licorice. Although it is more bitter than regular anise seeds.</p> <h2 class="p1">WHAT TO COOK WITH STAR ANISE?</h2> <p>If you’re just getting started cooking with star anise, you should start adding it to your dishes slowly. Too many pods can overpower a dish, making it bitter and unpleasant to eat. If you’re adding it to a soup or stew, try using one or two pods to start. This can be enough to impart a flavor, without obliterating the rest of the dish.</p> <p>Try adding whole pods to soups or stews that are made with beef or chicken, like this Pho with beef and noodles, or this<span> </span>chicken soup with shiitake mushrooms. A single pod can elevate a batch of homemade tomato sauce, too.</p> <p>You can also use the whole pods to mull wine, cider or beer, like in my spiced apple cider recipe. It ‘s also nice in a fruity Christmas punch.</p> <p>Grated or ground star anise works well desserts like gingerbread, chocolate cake or<span> </span>brownies.</p>

<h2><strong>Pure 98% 1 gram Capsaicin 12.500.00 SHU</strong></h2> <h2><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Price for Package of 1 gram.</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>It is best to dissolve it in methanol.</strong></span></p> <div>It is very difficult-to-obtain product of the highest purity and quality - offered at an unbeatable price! We are offering Capsaicin extracted from naturally grown Indian Capsicum annuum hot peppers, a material which is far more expensive and difficult to isolate than the synthetic capsaicin that is often sold by unscrupulous dealers on the internet, or used by large-scale manufacturers of hot sauces or pepper sprays. Due to the chemical similarity, they feel that claiming it is "pepper extract" is just as permissible as soda manufacturers selling products called "Root Beer", for example, even though the sodas often contain no natural flavorings or root extracts whatsoever. In such cases the "pepper extracts" are often synthetic as well.</div> <div> </div> <div>The most commonly available high-grade, so-called "Pure Capsaicin" comes in purities ranging between 95% and 97%, which is the purity of the material we have seen offered for sale on ????? in the past year, so we worked for months to secure a small supply of the highest purity available for your and our own uses; 98+% Capsaicin (16,000,000 Scoville Heat Units), with the negligible remainder being the highly related natural capsaicinoid chemicals found in hot peppers: Dihydrocapsaicin (15,000,000 Scoville Heat Units), Nordihydrocapsaicin (9,100,000 Scoville Heat Units), Homodihydrocapsaicin (8,600,000 SHU) Homocapsaicin (8,600,000 SHU) and trace amounts of the previously mentioned colored oleoresins of the capsicum peppers. </div> <div>It is absolutely impossible for "100% purity" of anything to be isolated, unless we are discussing mathematics.</div> <div>Uses:</div> <div>This chemical is not particularly soluble in water, but will easily dissolve in oils/fats. You could easily create a superior fire-oil to flavor dishes with, without imparting a potentially unwanted vinegar/hot pepper flavor, by dissolving a very small quantity of Capsaicin in a large volume of oil (Vegetable, Olive, Sesame, etc). For regular use (If Tabasco Sauce isn't spicy to you) I would suggest no more than 100mg Capsaicin dissolved in 80 grams of oil, which should produce an oil at around 20,000 Scoville Heat Units. If you can handle spicier material, perhaps something around 100,000 Scoville heat units, then 100 milligrams in 16 grams of oil would be a general formula. If you are insane and want an oil as hot as the Bhut Jolokia (Naga Jolokia, or Ghost Chili Pepper) which ranges from 800,000 - 1,000,000 Scoville heat units, to drop sparingly in chili dishes or other foods you want to make spicy (and potentially render your taste-buds useless for a while), then 100mg in 2 grams of oil should be sufficient to give it a rating of 800,000 Scoville heat units. BE CAREFUL, THOUGH.</div> <div> </div> <div>In very small amounts (do your math), it can be used to fortify flavorful hot sauces that aren't as spicy as you would like, or to aid in the manufacture of your own "thermonuclear" hot sauces or salsas. Be sure to shake/stir it extensively and let it sit for a while to allow the Capsaicin to dissolve (it doesn't dissolve easily in aqueous solutions) and diffuse throughout the product.</div> <div>It melts at between 144 and 149 degrees fahrenheit, so aqueous mixtures at this temperature should allow for ideal homogenization of Capsaicin within your projects.</div> <div>It could potentially be used as a deterrent to rodents and other mammalian pests, but it must not be used in ways which would potentially allow it to be tracked in areas that humans or pets come into contact with.</div> <div> </div> <div>Some people are allergic to hot peppers. They will also be allergic to Capsaicin, so if you have adverse reactions to hot peppers, or are taking medications (such as certain heart/blood pressure medicines) which interact with Capsaicin or hot peppers, do not buy or use this product.</div> <div> </div> <div>BEFORE BUYING, YOU MUST READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO </div> <div>THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY WAIVER.</div> <div>BY PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL TERMS, FOREVER.</div> <div> </div> <div>Disclaimer:</div> <div>This product is 16X hotter than the hottest, fully dried naturally occurring plant material on this earth. It is EXTREMELY spicy, and if used for culinary purposes must be used exceedingly sparingly.</div> <div>When handling you must wear rubber, latex, or vinyl gloves, respiratory protection or dust masks, and goggles or some other form of eye protection. </div> <div> </div> <div>ALWAYS wash your gloves multiple times with water and soap after handling, and then wash your bare hands, arms, and face with soap and water, even if you don't think that you got any Capsaicin on you. Even microscopic amounts can cause immense discomfort for the unwary.</div> <div> </div> <div>The minutest traces can cause intense pain to bare skin, and especially mucous membranes. Invisible particles can get in your eyes, or nasal mucosa, and cause immense discomfort, as I have already experienced. I, the seller, will assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever from the use or misuse of this product.</div>

The New Mexico State University's Chili Pepper Institute has identified the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion as the newest hottest chili pepper in the world as of February 2012. According to the New Mexico State University Chili Institute, the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion ranks as high as 2,009,231 SHU on the Scoville scale, making it the hottest chili pepper in the world to date.</p> <p>Paul Bosland, a renowned chili pepper expert and director of the Chili Institute, said, "You take a bite. It doesn't seem so bad, and then it builds and it builds and it builds. So it is quite intense."</p> <p>The golf ball-sized chili pepper scored the highest among a handful of chili cultivars reputed to be among the hottest in the world. Its mean heat topped more than 1.2 million units on the Scoville heat scale, while fruits from some individual plants reached 2 million heat units.</p> <p>Leaving out the heat the Moruga Scorpion has a tender fruitlike flavor, which makes it a unique sweet-hot combination.</p> <p><strong><em> Video:</em> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2iWb6a8QD4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2iWb6a8QD4</a></strong></p> <p><strong>Scoville ratings of peppers </strong></p> <p><strong><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinidad_Moruga_Scorpion" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinidad_Moruga_Scorpion</a></strong></p> </body> </html>

<h2 id="title"><strong>Whole dried pepper, Mirasol Aji Amarillo 50 grams</strong></h2> <h2><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Price for Package of 50 grams.</strong></span></h2> <p>Ají Mirasol Pepper Whole is the name given to Ají Amarillo Pepper when it has been dried in the sun. It can thus be stored for a very long time without losing any spiciness or flavor. After preparing these whole Ají Mirasol Peppers, you will use them to season many dishes and sauces of Peruvian cuisine such as Ají de Gallina where the concentrated taste of Ají Mirasol Pepper dominates.</p> <p>Dried whole Ají Mirasol peppers (Capsicum baccatum var. Pendulum)<br>Sun-drying gives Ají Mirasol pepper an intensity and an exceptional flavor that is much less floral and lemony than that of fresh Ají Amarillo, hence its use in different recipes. The taste of Ají Mirasol Pepper is more complex and more concentrated.</p> <p>These Ají Mirasol peppers can be stored for years without losing their spiciness and flavor.</p> <p>Before any use, it is essential to remove the seeds and veins. You can then grill them in a pan without oil and hydrate them in hot water. To blanch them, boil them three times, changing the water each time it simmers. This will reduce their spiciness without reducing their taste.</p> <p>To prepare Ají Mirasol Pepper paste, drain them and grind them in a blender with a little water or vegetable oil until the paste is smooth. Store this dough in the refrigerator in tightly closed jars or freeze the pasta in an ice cube tray. Once the cubes are hard, transfer them to a bag, seal it tightly and use the Ají Mirasol Pepper cubes whenever you need them.</p> <p>This Pepper brings a delicious flavor to soups and stews, such as Capchi (a stew of potatoes, cheese, milk and huacatay) or Ocopa, among many other Peruvian dishes. It is still used in long cooking dishes and very rarely as the sole ingredient.</p> <p>Ají Mirasol Peppers can be roasted whole without removing the seeds, for serving, for example on flageolet beans or other dishes such as Tacu tacu or Chupe des Andes (soups). Discerning palates will appreciate this exceptional crunchy and spicy sensation. For others, consume Ají Mirasol Pepper with caution if the seeds and veins have not been removed.</p><script src="//cdn.public.n1ed.com/G3OMDFLT/widgets.js"></script>

Bred in the Rock Hill, South Carolina greenhouse by Ed Currie, who runs the PuckerButt Pepper Company in Fort Mill, South Carolina, it has been rated as the world's hottest chili pepper by Guinness World Records since August 7, 2013. The original crossbreed was between a ghost pepper (a former world record holder) and a red habanero.
