Simply roll out these tapes of pre-spaced seed in a moist, well prepared seed drill. This fast maturing selection is ideal for early sowings under glass in late winter for your first crop of the year. Carrot ‘Nantes 2’ produces blunt tipped, medium length roots of about 15cm (6") long. This virtually coreless variety has a rich orange colour and sweet crunchy taste. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 15cm (6").</div> How To Sow <div>Direct sow carrot seeds outdoors from March to July. Early varieties may also be sown from February to March in greenhouse borders or under cloches. Specific autumn sowing carrot varieties can be sown as late as October under cloches for an early crop in spring. Grow Carrots in a weed free, sunny position in fertile, light, well drained soil.
