It is widely grown in Greece. The outside is very dark purple to black and the inside is red.</p> <p>Our experience has been after a couple of years of growing this variety is that Vasilika Mavra produces many very nice dark purple figs that have dropped before they were mature inside. The size, depth of color, and number have grown year over year for us. <h2><strong>Semena Divoká Hruška, Hrušky Mandloňové (Pyrus amygdaliformis)</strong></h2> <h2><span style="color: #fe0000;"><strong>Cena za balení 5 semen.</strong></span></h2> Hruška planá, hrušeň mandlolistá (Pyrus amygdaliformis) Je opadavý keř nebo nižší strom z čeledi růžovitých (Rosaceae). Dorůstá až 6 m výšky, zápoj je nepravidelný, kulatý, hustý. Kořenový systém je silný, hluboký a dobře rozvětvený. Větve jsou pokryty trny, kůra je načervenalá, podélně a příčně popraskaná, asi 1 cm silná. Mladé výhonky jsou hnědé, zpočátku hustě chlupaté, později holé.<br><br>Poupata jsou malá, jen asi 2 mm dlouhá, pokrytá tmavě šedými až tmavě hnědými šupinami, které jsou jemně chlupaté a špičaté. Listy jsou střídavé, protáhlé eliptické, 3-8 cm dlouhé, 1-3 cm široké, hrotité, celokrajné nebo jemně pilovité, na tváři tmavě zelené, hřbet je našedlý, jemně chlupatý, umístěný na tenkých řapících asi 1- 3 cm dlouhé.<br><br>Květy jsou oboupohlavné, jednopohlavné, velké asi 2 cm, nashromážděné po 5-12 v hroznovitých květenstvích, koruna je stavěna z 5 bílých okvětních lístků. Kvete v dubnu a květnu.<br><br>Plody jsou kulaté, tvrdé, zpočátku zelené, později žlutohnědé, 2-3 cm velké, umístěné na krátkých stopkách. Dozrávají v říjnu, jejich semena jsou černá, plochá, asi 5-6 mm dlouhá.<br><br>Je rozšířený v jižní a jihovýchodní Evropě a Malé Asii. Máme to podél Jadranu, na Istrii, pobřeží a Dalmácii. Roste na teplých, slunných a polostinných místech, v houštinách, na pasekách listnatých lesů, na loukách, v maquis.<br><br>Odolný vůči suchu, slabší k nízkým teplotám, dobře váže půdu a chrání ji před erozí. Roste pomalu, má dobré výhony z pařezů. Někdy se používá jako substrát pro roubování ovocných stromů.<br><br>Plody jsou jedlé, mají sladkokyselou chuť. The leaves are quite small but the aroma and the flavor are quite large.  Very slow to bolt, which is an advantage for home growers but makes it challenging for us to produce seedcrops–we start mighty early! We vote this the best-tasting Basil of all. Traditionally in Greece, a sprig is placed behind the ear to mask unpleasant smells (like tobacco smoke) and attract women (or men).</p> <p>Easy to grow.
